The Creative Journey is a unique insight into how to build a creative business from scratch. Follow along as Jo Fallon shows the Design Cuts community the ups and downs of starting her business The Cotswold Chalkboard.

In this week’s episode Jo is letting us know that she’s just been to an Instagram stories workshop, which means we’re going to see more of @thecotswoldchalkboard on our stories soon ?

Later in the week Jo is struggling a bit with finding the focus to finish a board for The Royal Oak Pub in Tetbury, as it is a really nice and sunny day and she would rather be outside enjoying the sun. We totally understand Jo, there haven’t been many sunny days, and when the ? does comes out, we wish we could spend the day out too.

It looks like Jo’s been having a really busy week enquiring about aluminium panels, finishing off designs for the Asparagasm Pub and creating to-do lists to keep all the tasks in check and make sure everything gets done.

The end of this week’s episode sees Jo rushing to the Art Centre in Cirencester to correct a mistake of one of their boards, as the Roman numerals say 2008 instead of 2018, oh dear! ? Not to worry Jo, we probably wouldn’t have noticed it either ?
