This week, we’re going to delving into how to apply textures to illustrations in Illustrator. The tutorial covers three methods; the first uses compound and clipping masks to clip the textured layers to the illustrations, the second uses the pathfinder palette to merge the layers together and punch the textures out of the illustrations, and the third shows us how to combine pattern-style textures with blend modes within illustrations.
