The Creative Journey is a unique insight into how to build a creative business from scratch. Follow along as Jo Fallon shows the Design Cuts community the ups and downs of starting her business The Cotswold Chalkboard.

In this week’s episode of the Creative Journey, Jo continues to work tirelessly on the Design Cuts product and we get another glance into her work process and the product progress so far. We get to see how Jo draws all the assets on chalkboard, then scans and gives them the final touches in Photoshop.

Jo reveals that she felt a bit overwhelmed with this project and had a chat with a very close friend, who gave her a pat on the back and offered some much needed support. She feels like she needs to plan her work better and also needs to ensure that she has a life outside of work. Jo became more aware of the amount of work she needs to do in the time left before the deadline for this project, and says she will be more strategic about it and will set herself daily targets for the work that needs to be completed each day. We know you can do it Jo – good luck!
