In this session we were joined by our good friends Jimbo & Tea from ShoutBAM! They will be demonstrating how to create a lettering composition for Print in Procreate using their latest collaborative pack, The Complete Procreate Print Toolkit.

Excellent ideas
So glad to hear that you enjoyed this session, Alexnis. We hope that you picked up some helpful tips and we look forward to seeing your future designs!
A have very basic questions – Suppose I am using Procreate for iPad and I want to make products for print.
– What is the largest pixel size of the end product that can be produced from Procreate? Is it simply the pixel dimensions of the iPad screen? What does that translate to in print size if I want to print at say 250DPI?
– Can I export the Procreate finished product into Photoshop CC to work on it further?
Hey David,
Thanks for getting in touch and rest assured I can certainly answer your questions for you. I have just popped you an email that should help :).
Pls answer here as well. I too want to know the answers.
Hey Manisha,
The best DPI to use for printing would be 300.
As for exporting the finished work into Photoshop CC, we’ve not tried this ourselves, but I can suggest you export your finished design as a .PNG which you should then be able to work on in Photoshop :)
I’ll be viewing from Chicago. I know nothing about procreate. Normally use photoshop for everything.
Hey Diana,
Thank you so much for joining us! Whilst this live demonstration is using Procreate, we hope that all of the handy tips that Jimbo and Tea will be sharing are super handy for your projects too!
