Welcome to our brand new Design Basics video series created in collaboration with Eric Vasquez
Eric Vasquez is back in a brand new Design Basics tutorial and in today’s lesson, he will be talking all about colour. The first thing we would like to show you which we think will be very useful for this tutorial is the Adobe Color Wheel.
We will have a look at Analogous, Monochromatic as well as Complementary Colours and will also encourage you to go visit the website and have a play with the colour wheel. If you visit the explore tab you will find preset colour palettes, and if you go to the search bar you can find colour palettes for specific themes e.g. Halloween.
It’s important to find colour palettes that not only fit with the theme of what you are trying to design but also colours that give your work a sense of harmony.
