The Creative Journey is a unique insight into how to build a creative business from scratch. Follow along as Jo Fallon shows the Design Cuts community the ups and downs of starting her business The Cotswold Chalkboard.

Jo starts this week’s episode by showing us a board she’s created for Instagram stories, to ask her followers what they would like to know about chalkboards. We think that is such a great idea Jo, and hopefully it gained great engagement from the audience.

Later in the week, she is heading to Cheltenham to talk to a client about a rather large sign they will require for promoting their business as Mercedes mechanics. As this is quite a different project, Jo will need to get a lot of information on the project before she gets started.

On Thursday, we get a glimpse of the new product Jo has added to her new Etsy shop. This has been in the works for some time, and Jo is very happy that she’s finally been able to launch her shop and she’s hoping this will be a great new source of income.

The following week, Jo talks about the event that the Asparagasm is holding in London and we get to see the board she’s done to promote this event. Well done Jo – the board looks amazing and your late night work definitely paid off! ?
