In this webinar, we talked to our favourite lettering duo: Debi Sementelli and Laura Worthington. Both Debi and Laura are well-known font designers, so they combined their forces to show us how to create a font from scratch.

Debi started the webinar by showing us how she creates a font by hand-lettering it and then discussed what you should consider when designing an alphabet that will become a font. Laura talked about what you do with the lettering once you put it into the font program, how to draw the letters, and lastly how to create features like contextual alternates.
