The Creative Journey is a unique insight into how to build a creative business from scratch. Follow along as Jo Fallon shows the Design Cuts community the ups and downs of starting her business The Cotswold Chalkboard.
In today’s episode Jo mentions her plan of getting up early to increase her productivity and bring us up to speed with how it’s been going so far. While on some days she was successful, on others she overslept or felt she needed to have a 30 minutes nap in the afternoon. But with a bit of practice, she is hopeful she will get used to it and still manage to have some energy on the day.
On Thursday, Jo catches up with her work and mentions that she feels very optimistic about the work coming in. After measuring the wall for a mural at her accountants office, she went to Tetbury to go over the graphic design and marketing plans with the owners of the pub.
She is also revealing a very exciting project with us in which we will send a product over for her to check and film her honest review of. We’ve seen the first one and we are amazed at just how talented Jo is at drawing. Keep an eye on our social media channels, so you don’t miss the new series which will be released very soon.
Jo is reminding us of the Design Cuts Chalk Pack and promises it is well underway and will be released soon and also with the upcoming work we will get a chance to see more of Jo’s amazing chalkboard designs.
