The Creative Journey is a unique insight into how to build a creative business from scratch. Follow along as Jo Fallon shows the Design Cuts community the ups and downs of starting her business The Cotswold Chalkboard.
Episode 16 of the Creative Journey follows up from the previous episode, as Jo realised that during episode 15 she hasn’t talked very much to the camera and she wanted to update us on a few things that have happened over the past week.
We get to have a sneak peek at a few more flourishes, that Jo initially draws on baby chalkboards (love the name Jo) and then scans them into her computer. While Jo is enjoying drawing the flourishes, she is happy to have a bit of variety in her work and gets excited as she gets a new opportunity to work on chalkboard for a local cafe. Also, it seems that a few more projects are coming Jo’s way and we’re all very glad to see that the business is picking up organically.
Jo ends the episode on a very happy note, and shows us that she’s been able to finish all 50 flourishes for the Design Cuts product – awesome job Jo ?. While she has lots more to do, at least she can go on her holiday happy, knowing she’s finished a big chunk of work ?
