The Creative Journey is a unique insight into how to build a creative business from scratch. Follow along as Jo Fallon shows the Design Cuts community the ups and downs of starting her business The Cotswold Chalkboard.

In episode 12, Jo is breaking the promise she made to herself in the previous episode, and once again we see a very tired Jo working late nights again :( On the bright side, she is working really hard to get the projects done as she knows that postponing them it’s really never a good idea.

Jo is showing us the finished boards she’s done for the Upper Lock Cafe and gets a bit emotional as this was one of the biggest projects she’s been working and she’s a bit sad to see it finish.

We also find a really interesting thing about Jo in this episode – that she chooses coffee by its typeface :) That shows true dedication to hand lettering Jo. If the font looks great and the coffee tastes good that’s a winner for us too.

Now that the Upper Lock Cafe boards have all been finished, Jo is getting herself ready for the next big thing – the product she will launch with us. We’re looking forward to that and can’t wait to see the work in progress Jo.
