The Creative Journey is a unique insight into how to build a creative business from scratch. Follow along as Jo Fallon shows the Design Cuts community the ups and downs of starting her business The Cotswold Chalkboard.
Jo is quite excited about this week’s creative work and she starts the episode showing us the draft designs she’s done for the Seafare Fish and Chip shop, and mentions that the owners are very happy with these and they’re looking forward for Jo to start working on the boards.
She reveals that she hasn’t had the most productive time last week, but she hopes that with a bit of preparation and planning, she will be able to get her work back on a good schedule and finish everything she needs in time for Christmas so she can enjoy the holidays.
We love to see Jo get back to the chalkboards and we get to witness the process of preparing the boards with black paint and then drawing the outlines for the menus.
Later in the week, Jo heads back to the Asparagasm Hub for a catch up with the owners to cover their marketing designer needs for the rest of the year.
