The Creative Journey is a unique insight into how to build a creative business from scratch. Follow along as Jo Fallon shows the Design Cuts community the ups and downs of starting her business The Cotswold Chalkboard.
A few months back we announced that this upcoming episode would be the last in Jo’s Creative Journey Vlog! The time’s finally here and as sad as it may be to wrap up this series with Jo, things are only looking up for her. Since her last episode in November, she’s been busy finishing up her Chalk Pack (now featured on our marketplace and doing exceedingly well), filming her Digital Product Unboxing series, creating tutorials for her pack, and featuring on webinars and Q&As.
Jo talks about what she learned this past year – how to start, promote, and market her own business, and what she does and doesn’t want to do moving forward. She’s decided to begin producing more products of her own and get back into the illustrative side of things. Before signing off, she urges fellow creative to start their own vlog if they’re hesitant. It’s helped her immensely, to be honest with her viewers and get such genuine and heartfelt feedback from them.
We also wanted to thank each and every one of you for following and supporting Jo every step of the way. We’re very happy to continue working with Jo and can guarantee you that this won’t be the last you’ll see of her. In Jo’s words, it’s not a goodbye but a ‘see you later’!
