The Creative Journey is a unique insight into how to build a creative business from scratch. Follow along as Jo Fallon shows the Design Cuts community the ups and downs of starting her business The Cotswold Chalkboard.
We can’t believe that it’s already episode 20 of the vlog – congrats Jo and here’s to many more ? What better way to start this episode than with a design of the Design Cuts logo? We absolutely love it Jo ?
In this episode, Jo is telling us that she is having a mixed day in terms of productivity and she is experimenting and trying to improve the way she works by moving into a room without access to her laptop. She finds that in front of her computer she is more prone to procrastinating by spending time on Social Media.
Jo continues the week with working on several projects such as changing the layout of an existing design to fit the dimension of a new layout, creating a halloween poster as well as testing some of the Design Cuts chalk pack files and we’re so happy that we get to see the pack in action for the first time ?
She also reveals that she hasn’t been very happy with some of the latest vlog episodes and she’s made a plan of editing the vlog every night after she does all of her design work, as she wants to make sure that these are delivered in time and at the high quality that she wants them to be. We really appreciate your effort Jo and thank you so much for getting ahead with the vlog ?
