Bison Font Family

Bison is a strong font family and sophisticated sans serif. Inspired by the animal, it's sturdy uncompromising style is felt through the controlled letterforms and modern touches. A balance of hard lines and smooth curves. Each font in the family can stand on its own, dynamic and authoritative in their own right.

Bison includes twelve all-caps fonts in .TTF: Four weights, two outlines, six italics.

Included in this set:

• Silver South Script:
A clean, free-flowing script font containing upper & lowercase characters, numerals and a large range of punctuation.
• Silver South Script Alt:
This is the second version of Silver South Script, with a completely new set of upper & lowercase characters. If you wanted to avoid letters looking the same each time to recreate a custom-made style, or try a different word shape, simply switch to this font for an additional layout option.
• Silver South Serif:
A classy serif font containing upper & lowercase characters, numerals and a large range of punctuation. Creates a perfect pairing contrast with the Silver South Script fonts.
• Silver South Ligatures:
Simply type any a-z lowercase character, or A-L uppercase character in this font to generate a ligature, if you are unable to access them with opentype software. (If you have opentype software, ‘Discretionary Ligatures’ can be turned on for the Script fonts, which will automatically switch standard letter pairs into the provided ligatures).
• Silver South Script also contains 2 swashes assigned to the { and } keys.

This versatile font family will work perfectly for fashion, e-commerce brands, trend blogs, wedding boutiques, as well as for any business that wants to achieve an elegant, chic look.

It also has an extensive language support - Beautiful Minds script has tons of ligatures, contextual and stylistic alternates, swashes as well as a small capitals set.

Serif has two weights with corresponding italics fonts and a special Stencil style. To complement serifs and the scripts, we also added a design elements font that contains more than 50 brush drawn design elements.

To look as realistic as possible, Beautiful Minds Script has lots of stylistic and contextual alternates as well as initial and end letters and swashes included.

As long as both Standard and Discretionary Ligatures along with Contextual Alternates features are activated in the OpenType panel of your application, letters will be replaced automatically while you are writing.

Each lowercase letter has up to 10 alternates. Additionally, the font has Capital Alternates, Small Capitals, nominators/denominators and fractions and, of course, a full set of punctuation and symbols.

The script font reaches a total of more 1300 glyphs

We do suggest to use professional OpenType-aware applications that have OpenType and Glyphs panels, like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign or Adobe Illustrator*. You can still use Beautiful Minds fonts in Silhouette and similar applications (that has no OpenType support yet) but may need a help of a font management software such as Character Map (Windows) or FontBook (Mac). To select the glyphs, you can also use third-party applications such as PopChar.

This product is exclusive to Design Cuts.

Northwell Font

Introducing: Northwell! A rustic, dapper handwritten font with a personal charm. With quick dry strokes and a signature style, Northwell is perfect for branding projects, homeware designs, product packaging – or simply as a stylish text overlay to any background image.

Included in this set:

• Northwell – A handwritten script font containing upper & lowercase characters, numerals and a large range of punctuation.
• Northwell Alt – This is a second version of Northwell, with a completely new set of both lower and uppercase characters. If you wanted to avoid letters looking the same each time to recreate a custom-made style, or try a different word shape, simply switch to this font for an additional layout option.
• Northwell Swash – A set of 20 hand-drawn swashes, the perfect finishing touch to underline your Northwell text. Simply install this as a separate font, select it from your font menu and type any A-U character to create a swash.

Features:

• Fonts are provided in .TTF & .OTF formats. I recommend installing the .TTF files, and the .OTF only if necessary. There is no difference in function with either format.
• Fonts include multilingual support.
• Ligatures are also available for several lowercase characters (double-letters which flow more naturally). These are only accessible via software with OpenType capability or a glyphs panel, e.g. Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
