THURSDAY 18TH, 3:30-4:15PM (BST)
Photoshop Design Process: Creating Packaging Label Artwork
For this session, we'll be chatting with Gareth David, a wonderfully talented London-based designer who specialises in "conceptual creative solutions, designs for logo identity, visual branding & Web/UI." With over 11 years of experience under his belt and a YouTube channel where he produces educational design tutorials, he considers himself an 'educreator'.
Gareth will be guiding us through his Photoshop design process for creating packaging label artwork for a fictional IPA brand. He'll feature some initial design thinking on paper in the form of sketches and refined scamps, after which he'll pick a scamp design and artwork it up in Photoshop. To end the session, Gareth will be using Adobe Bridge to demonstrate how he organises his files to make them ready for artworking.
