This deal includes extended licensing. This means that as well as using these resources within personal and commercial projects, you can also use them in designs/products that you resell. Here is some further clarification:
You can:
Use these resources within personal and commercial projects, as well as items for sale. The resources must be used within a wider design though, and not comprise the entire design. This can include, but is not limited to posters, t-shirt designs, digital goods, merchandise etc…
You can’t:
Resell these resources/files directly, or within items/goods where they can be extracted in their original form.
Share these resource files with others. This is a single user license. Please contact us to enquire about multi-user licenses.
Includes a Handy Pdf Browsing Guide
After many community requests, we’re including a useful .pdf browsing guide. This allows you to easily see which textures are included in each folder, without having to refer back to this deal page. (This is included with your deal download).
question: someone any tipps how to manage all the media files like vectors, psd’s, tiff’s, jpg, mockups, textures and so many others you bought on several sites like stack social, design cuts, mighty deals ….
many deals with ton of cool files. how to manage all this?
maybe this question is a reason for a blogpost or a deal with a very helpful software.
There are loads of different ways of organizing your resources, Gianpetro. Really it’s an art in itself. First of all you can chose where you want to store all your resources, be it on your hard drive, and external hard drive or even on a cloud. Once you got that sorted there are really no rules. You can sort resources by bundle or by type or size or, whatever seems most accessible to you. It’s really very much down to how you like to access your design resources and how you feel you’ll get the most out of them. I hope that helps. :)
I organize directories by vendor (e.g., Design Cuts) as that’s generally the easiest way I have of organizing rights.
For providers I purchase from several vendors (“I know it’s from Offset…”), I have a separate directory for them with links to where their stuff is found in the vendor directories.
I’m on a Mac and just tag directories. So I might tag something: photoshop, brush, splatter, extended-license — or: font, display.
YAY ! Denise is back …
I am crazy about textures and crazy about HER textures. I bought all of them from DC so far and can’t believe I only have 1 pack (10 textures) from a previous deal. Thanks to you all, you are amazing.
PS : if you didn’t get you hands on these textures, hurry up … there are just top top top quality and gorgeous !
Hey Nicole, thanks so much for the kind words! Denise’s textures are gorgeous and we all absolutely love them in the office. The 10 duplicated textures were actually a little mistake from our side. We never want to duplicate any of the elements in our bundles, so we’re going to replace them today with a pack of shiny new textures. :)
The replacement pack is called ‘Colossal’ and is located in the first part. I’ll drop you an email about this though, so you won’t have to download the entire part one again, since it’s rather large. :)
Hey Tina, does that mean if we’ve already downloaded them some time back, we need to go back & do it again (in order to get the 10 new ones)? I bought them as soon as they came out & just realized after watching Tom’s video tonight that I hadn’t even taken them out of my download folder yet!!! :D
I’ve been working hard on something & completely forgot about them! But Denise does a beautiful job & they are luscious! And the extended licenses make it totally worth it. I don’t buy if I can’t use it in my own work that I make to sell. But I definitely wouldn’t sell the textures. I don’t want anyone copying my work, so I totally understand about that! Love you guys at Design Cuts. I’ve been shirking my other 2 classes (with Sebastian & Dave Cross….don’t tell!!! ☺) because I’ve been having so much fun with you guys! HA-HA!!! Thank y’all so much ☺
Hey Tricia, not to worry, I’ll drop you an email about the replacement pack. :)
Glad to hear you’re loving the new textures. Please do feel free to send us the outcome of what you’re currently working on.
I agree with Nicole. It’s “easy” to be enthusiastic when everything is just so unique and well done!
For a while I had lost my way, away from Photoshop and creativity. I found my way back and have found new Communities aside from my own and it brings me lots of joy! On a personal level it makes me happy to share when I find good stuff!
Sharing great things really does make you happy, doesn’t it. And I’m not just talking about sharing great design resources. You see something amazing on social media or something that’s touching you, and sharing it with others just feels really nice. :)
Sometimes, learning is VERY frustrating, I feel that people should not have to struggle if I know the answer and I’m able to share it! Sometimes one can’t share the answer, but there is always a way to direct a person in the right direction. Like going to YouTube for the answer! ;)
I absolutely agree. Sometimes it’s difficult to explain a process without writing an essay, or it’s simply too complex to be explained in words. Then a little YouTube video or tutorial works wonders. :)
Oh yeahhhh! I thought I had enough textures by now but apparently not, lol! I’m going to have to go for this deal too. Thanks for the excellent deal, guys, and a big thanks to Denise for creating these amazing textures!
What also makes the Design Cuts deals so appetizing to the creative spirit, is not only the resources themselves, but the EXTENDED Usage License. That IS VERY important!
If you’ve been looking around at resource packages and reading the Terms of Usage then you are understanding what I’m saying here.
What’s the point of buying gorgeous stuff IF you’re hands are tied as far as usage.
Of course it’s reasonable you can’t offer the resources as is for sale. That’s only right, but aside from that, or making them available in some way, you can do whatever you want with them as far as your creativity! THAT is priceless to me!
Tina ~ I was out/been out looking around, before I met you all here at Design Cuts, so I knew quality, features, excellence and affordability when I saw it!
Many don’t look at Terms of Usage, I DO and I do not buy if the usage is not to my liking. As well, some don’t make the Terms of Usage clear enough to understand and then there is no way to clarify. :( Free is not always free! This is just a “general” statement!
That’s a very good point, Roz. But then again there’s no harm in asking either. We do sometimes get questions about the usage within specific scenarios, and we actually really appreciate that people ask and want to be absolutely 100% sure, before using/ buying our bundles.
You had deficiency (I think) “instead of” definitely. I see you fixed it. ;)
I understand that some of the iphone or smart phone apps don’t always fix the typos with the right words. ;) Someone was complaining about that on Facebook one day! I don’t have any itoys myself!
Yeah, it’s actually my computer as well. It keeps changing what was originally a typo and would have been marked, into some strange word. And then when you read over it again you don’t see it, because it’s not underlined in red. Very frustrating. lol
