Pixel Perfect Designs Made With Creatives In Mind

We’ve teamed up with Maishop to offer you a HUGE collection of sharp, high-res, incredibly useful background designs and digital papers. These designs are great for enhancing your work, and should save you countless hours fiddling around in Photoshop!

Maishop Backgrounds

Hundreds of Backgrounds, Endless Uses

Backgrounds are typically really tricky to get right and can be surprisingly difficult to create from scratch. I’ve often found myself trawling free stock sites and having to settle for an average looking background for my projects. If you’re anything like me, then average doesn’t cut it!

Today’s huge bundle means that you can stop wasting hours trawling freebie sites for a background that ‘sort of fits’ your project, and instead fall back on this massive library of designs, ideal for any project. At 93% off, this is a saving you shouldn’t miss.

These designs are perfect for:

  • Website backgrounds
  • Packaging design
  • Printing your own wrapping paper
  • Desktop background design
  • App and UI designs
  • Digital (and non-digital) scrapbooking work
  • And much more!

Just take a look at the huge amount of variety available in this collection:

Maishop Backgrounds

12X12″ 300DPI Print Ready Designs

We all know how frustrating it can be when working with images that don’t stand up to high-res. No one wants a blurred, fuzzy looking design!

Luckily for you, every design in this collection is 12X12″ (3600X3600px) and 300 DPI (print resolution). Each design is originally created in vector format, so is beautifully sharp, and scales well for your high resolution projects.

Maishop Backgrounds

It’s As Easy as Drag and Drop

Because these backgrounds were created with designers like you in mind, using them is a breeze. It’s as simple as dragging and dropping them into your Photoshop canvas. They’re already colour balanced, sharp, high-res and beautiful.

Many designs include multiple colour variations, so that you won’t even need to adjust the hue and risk degrading the image quality. Because the designs are neatly organised you’ll be able to swap around and replace various backgrounds in seconds, to see which designs are the best fit for your specific project.

Just a few of the words to describe the various textures in this bundle. Whatever project you’re working on, there is an appropriate background design to fit.

Many of the designs also work fantastically as texture overlays, including the broad array of linen fabric backgrounds sampled below:

You can really see how much time Marina from Maishop has put into creating each background. The line art is truly superb, which is important to us pixel-perfect designers who want everything looking just right.

On Marina’s own shop you can regularly see comments from appreciative designers such as:

“Beautiful!”

“Really pretty”

“I love these!”

These backgrounds and digital papers are built with designers in mind, and it really shows:

Hey guys, I like this deal for sure. The info says they were created in vector format; are the vector files included in the download too (vector PDFs or flat JPGs)? Also, do the backgrounds tile accurately? Thanks!!

    • Tom Ross

Thanks for the great question Scott. The vector files aren’t included, although I’m looking into this for you. However, the files are so high res and print ready that you can definitely use them in larger projects. Some of the backgrounds tile whilst others do not. However, I’m planning on writing a tutorial showing how to tile any background successfully which should help you. Look out for it next week :).

I look forward to hearing from you on the vector thinger – and the tutorial too. Note: if the original PS file that the smart object is dropped into is saved as a PS pdf (with PS editing enabled), the smart object will be protected.. Therefore leaving the object as vector. I work with print, some of the backgrounds/banners get as large as 8-10′ wide (hence my query into scaleable items).

That’s right Scott, thanks for posting the info here for other members to see. The second I hear back I’ll let you know about the vector versions.

Hey Scott. I’m just going to email you now. It took a little time to organize, but we setup a great bonus pack of 50 vector patterns using some of the best backgrounds from this set. It was great of Marina to work with us on setting these up, so hopefully they’ll help you.

I swear to you that I just teared up a little with joy when I saw this weeks deal. I am a designer and spend countless dollars and time making backgrounds. I have been looking for a mega pack for forever to help cut back on some of my time designing invitations. Thank you thank you so much for offering this deal! You have given me the gift of time.

    Hey!

Found out about your site yesterday and bought the texture pack… and today just bought this new deal.

However, even if the the pack is great, with very beautiful backgrounds it’s a shame the backgrounds aren’t seamless… All files I tried didn’t work well as patterns and they’re all in jpg, if at least they were vectors it would be easier to work with…

    Cheers.

Hey Augusto, thanks so much for your feedback. As I mentioned to Scott, I’ll be posting a tutorial on making these backgrounds tillable next week.

        Hey Tom,

I read it and that’s great. Actually I know how to make them tillable, but I was actually looking forward not having to do it… a.k.a lazy lol

I don’t regret having bought it, just think it should have been more clearly explained on the Deal info.

If you have a faster method of making it tillable than that I know, it’s always good to learn.

        Cheers!

Hi Augusto, I’m really glad that you’re enjoying the backgrounds. To be honest, they are intended more as drag+drop backgrounds and digital papers, rather than tillable patterns. We can certainly line up a deal on some awesome patterns for you guys though.

Excellent tutorial, although it kept stalling out on me but I got through it ;-) I just happened to be working out how to tile a random pattern much like what you have at the end of your video and came up with pretty much the same solution as you show. To get rid of the gaps I was going to just fill in two gapped areas (the right side and bottom of the tile), then save those layers as a group, copy the group and paste it wherever needed. I thought it might save a little time doing it that way.

Anyway, thanks so much for the tileable vectors! Wow, feels like Christmas already around here!

Thanks a lot for the kind words Peggy. It’s an HD video, so they can tend to be a little laggy at times. Hopefully it’s worth it for the video quality though.

That’s a great time saving idea for the texture tiling, thanks for sharing. I’m really glad that you’re enjoying the tileable vectors. Consider it an early Christmas present from us to you :).

Hi. The video never plays for me. It just keeps flashing “loading” in the upper left corner. I am on Win 7, 64-bit and have tried using Firefox, Chrome and IE.

Are you self-hosting the video, or can I find it on YouTube or Vimeo?

    Thanks Tom.

GREAT VID! Very clear, to the pt, and invaluable. Cheers! No problem viewing using cable modem for net access, iMac, Chrome. Ppl always point out the price advantages of PCs, but I truly don’t know how ppl create or watch online vids using PCs. Not being snobby, but it’s very hard to design for PCs if on a Mac too. You all are doing a smashing job. Thank you very much! ;-)

Hi, I love your backgrounds but I find it very difficult to find the one I am looking for… would there be some sort of way you could produce a pdf index for the bundles? Also the vector files would be super great.
Thanks for a great job, Marina

      Hey Marina,

We originally planned to add PDF guides to all the bundles that were still missing this, but unfortunately time ran out, and we didn’t get a chance to do that. We are however working on this in hindsight, and will add the guides gradually now.

If you let me know which background you’re looking for I can track it down for you.

      Hey Clare,

      Thanks for the comment!

I am really sorry for the delay in the creation of the PDF file- as you can imagine this is a monumental task to get PDF’s sorted for all our previous bundles but we can see the light at the end of this tunnel!

We should be finished in the next four weeks and then you be able to access it for this bundle! Again I am so sorry for the delay but thanks for your patience!

      Hey Nidhi,

I am so sorry but this deal is now well and truly finished, so I won’t be able to set you up with this. This is one of our older deals so it is unlikely that we will re- run it again (sometimes we re- run an older deal in conjunction with our latest bundle). IF there was anything specific in the bundle that you were after, i could certainly direct you to the designers page?

I hope this helps, and please don’t hesitate to contact me should you have any questions. I’m always happy to help.
