I need help. I have tried multiple times to use the smart object PSD files in PS CS6 to create a paper cut image of a quote in a font of my choice. Every PSD file, however, only has “First Layer” and “Letterings_FX_Bend” folders, but no Second Layer folder. As a result, I do not get any of the files to produce a double-layer image as advertised above; in addition, the curl on the quote is not nearly as pronounced and often the color I select for my alpha changes. The examples in the PSD file folders show a double-layered image, but I sure don’t get one. Is there a video or some detailed instructions available on how to use those PSD files in order to get the double-layered images shown in the description? The only tutorial included shows how to recolor the included Hometown Alphabet images. I have used other products which employ smart objects to get the desired effect without any issues. I really want to love this product as I think the effect shown above is amazing, but I am frustrated that I am not getting anywhere near the results shown for alternate fonts.

Fun font, but not seeing any stylistic alternatives, such as the large swoop on the “t” shown above. I do have Standard Ligatures and Discretionary Ligature options on the Character window, but neither give me the alternate styles shown in the word “Essentials” above. The default language in the character window is French for some reason. Is that part of the issue? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
