Among the various definitions of engraving technique, the one used for money-printing is my favorite — look at the tiny-teeny patterns with astounding details. Shadows, volume, highlights, and coloring are made via an array of overlayed, densely placed lines! Don’t get me started on albums with vintage engraving illustrations, these are my kind of visual drugs.
