All fonts (6 in total) come in two styles – .SVG (handwritten look and feel) and Regular (solid).

Both script and serif fonts benefit from OpenType ligatures and alternates and can be successfully used in any design project: Logotypes, Branding, Headlines, Invitations, Greeting Cards, T-shirt design, Magazines, Web, Quotes, Packaging etc.

The script font contains more than 50 ligatures, all lowercase letters have both initial and end-of-word swashes. You can also use underlines as swashes if you prefer their shape/length.

The script was written with Speedball b-nib using Shin-kai ink – very smooth and well flowing. This helped to create an authentic handwritten texture.

All fonts (SVG and Regular) have multilingual support.

Web Fonts included!

Included in this set:

  • Marygold Script
  • Marygold Serif Light & Bold
  • Design Elements (underlines & leaves)
  • 30+ paper textures that you can mix & match

Please help. I LOVE your fonts – just bought Marygold for it’s lovely handwritten feel and texture – BUT when I use the SVG version it appears bitmapped with no tone at all. I am using the latest versions of Photoshop and Illustrator. I tried switching off the anti-alis, no difference. :( I hope it’s a simple fix. Hoping you have a suggestion or solution?
    Many thanks, Suzi

Unfortunately I’m having issues with the SVG font version. I always like to expand my text in Illustrator so that when I export to EPS, PDF, etc. the font will still work. Unfortunately I can’t expand my text and the letters just turn into a black block. Any ideas?
Also, I can’t use colors with the SVG versions.

Hi Elena. I just purchased this font. All fonts are loaded (working in indesign currently) yet I’m unable to access any stylistic alternates. Is there a second keyboard key command? Looking to use the alternate for the letter “R” for example. Please let me know as soon as possible.

Is there a way to test my brand words visually with this font? I have some letters that consistently prove to be problematic, so I need to see the font spelling my words specifically. I’m interested in the script.

      Hey Mishqueen,

Thanks so much for commenting and I am really sorry if you were hoping to live-trial these fonts. We currently do not have this feature, however if there is a particular word or phrase that you would like to trial out, I would be happy to create these examples on my side and pop them over in an email for you.

Alternatively, we do always offer a 30 day money-back guarantee, so you can certainly purchase the pack and trial it out. Hopefully you will find it useful, however if not, simply let me know within 30 days, and I will organise a refund for you.

Hi! I was actually looking for a live-trial of this before purchase too. I need it for a logo. Could you please email a sample of what the following would look like Andrea Green Events and Design? I’m interested to see script and serif version of this.

      Hey Cameron,

Thanks so much for leaving us a lovely comment.

I am delighted to hear you love your new font. You should be able to change the opacity of your SVG through the ‘properties’ panel. You should be able to adjust this before starting your design or by highlighting your design and adjusting this using the percentage bar :)

I would love to know how you get on with this, if you have any questions please do pop us an email at hello@designcuts.com and we will be more than happy to help in any way we can!
