Who this class is for:

This class is for surface pattern designers at the beginning of their journey in this fascinating industry or for those who have been creating patterns for a while but just can’t work out why they aren’t licensing them. I don’t teach you how to create patterns in this class; you can learn that in one of my other classes. In this class, we are just talking about some design fundamentals to help take your pattern designs to the next level.

What you’ll need:
For this class, you’ll need a notebook and pen to write down all the tips I’m going to give you, or you can just print out the pdf cheat sheet provided. You’ll need your favourite design program. This could be Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Affinity.
