Introducing: Northwell! A rustic, dapper handwritten font with a personal charm. With quick dry strokes and a signature style, Northwell is perfect for branding projects, homeware designs, product packaging – or simply as a stylish text overlay to any background image.
Included in this set:
• Northwell – A handwritten script font containing upper & lowercase characters, numerals and a large range of punctuation.
• Northwell Alt – This is a second version of Northwell, with a completely new set of both lower and uppercase characters. If you wanted to avoid letters looking the same each time to recreate a custom-made style, or try a different word shape, simply switch to this font for an additional layout option.
• Northwell Swash – A set of 20 hand-drawn swashes, the perfect finishing touch to underline your Northwell text. Simply install this as a separate font, select it from your font menu and type any A-U character to create a swash.
Features:
• Fonts are provided in .TTF & .OTF formats. I recommend installing the .TTF files, and the .OTF only if necessary. There is no difference in function with either format.
• Fonts include multilingual support.
• Ligatures are also available for several lowercase characters (double-letters which flow more naturally). These are only accessible via software with OpenType capability or a glyphs panel, e.g. Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
Please note that Stylistic Alternates will require professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or Inkscape.
Language Support: English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Polish, Indonesian, Filipino, Malay

hi there,
a few questions sorry, I use corel PAINTSHOP PRO. Am I able to use it in there when signing my photographs please?
I only use a logo/ sign on my picture for people to view my photos online in fb etc. So I wont be selling the finished product with a sign /logo : is this ok or do I have to obtain further licence please?
kind regards
Adele
Hey Adele,
Thank you so much for your comment!
Fonts are an amazing resource- they can literally be used in all types of text and design based programmes once they have been installed onto your computer. I have attached some really helpful links for installing fonts below;
PC- http://bit.ly/1wjViMb
Mac- http://bit.ly/1hBPGEL
YouTube Tutorial- http://bit.ly/2eQIGd9
Please note however that Stylistic Alternates will require professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or Inkscape though.
I hope this helps 😀
This is a gorgeous font! Thank you 🙂
Yay thank you so much and we hope that you enjoy taking this one for a spin Adenaj!
Hi,
I´m considering this font but wonder what the wording “Please note that Stylistic Alternates will require professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or Inkscape.” means?
What is Stylistic Alternates?
Kind regards,
Tone
Hey Tone,
We’re so sorry for any confusion caused by stylistic alternatives.
So stylistic alternatives are variations in the fonts that allow for you to have more creative control over the appearances of your font when used in a word. For example, if you had a ‘tt’ written in Northwell font, you might want to select a ligature that will allow you to have the t’s to be crossed by a single line to make your text appear more naturally handwritten.
I hope this helps Tone and I have popped you an email to help if you have any other questions about stylistic alternates 🙂
Having trouble with this font in InDesign. Once we enlarge over 40pt the use of M or W causes the word to disappear on the prints. I know this maybe an InDesign issue, just curious if anyone else has experienced this.
Hey Chris,
Thank you so much for reaching out to us and I am so sorry to hear that you have been having difficulty with your Northwell Font!
Rest assured I can certainly help you with this and have popped you over an email to get some more information so that we can get you a fix 🙂
International language support. Does this mean it contains “æ Æ ø Ø å Å” too?
Hey Tarn,
Thanks so much for the comment on this one. So this product actually lists multi- lingual support as opposed to International support. You can check the language support for this font in the font description but I have also included it here for you: English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Polish, Indonesian, Filipino, Malay
I hope this helps, and please don’t hesitate to contact me should you have any other questions.
Same. Sample text would be beneficial.Perhaps something to consider for your site? 🙂
Hey Jillian,
Thanks for the comment and this is a great suggestion! Unfortunately it is not something that we are able to offer at this point but it is on our to do list!
Hi,
I’m just wondering if there’s any way to try a sample text out? I’m curious to see what my text will look like before I purchase.
Thanks,
Jennie
Hey Jennie,
Thanks so much for you’re comment.
We unfortunately don’t have this facility on our site, however i’ve just popped you over an email to see if this is something I can help with 🙂
