Blink: Procreate Brush Set for Comic and Cartoon Styles

We’re thrilled to launch our first brush set for Procreate: BLINK!

The goal of this set was to create usable, practical brushes that will turbo charge your illustrations in a practical way.

They’re neatly organised to cover every step of the process from initial sketches, to inking, right through to colouring/rendering and those final touches!

The brushes work great for comic and cartoon styles, but many are useful across a range of styles.

We’ve also included three .PDF guides that give details on each individual brush, our approach – start to finish – to the illustration process and also an installation guide.

(And as a bonus, we’ve also included a texture pack with a mix of 8 subtle and ‘impact’ textures.)

Here’s a set of 36 handmade ink brushes for the iPad app Procreate!

The set is divided into 3 different categories: regular brushes (for ink sketches), ink washes (great for backgrounds and texturing) and ink stains stamps. All brushes (except the stamps) are pressure sensitive and optimized for the Apple Pencil.

All these brushes were created from real China ink samples, that have been scanned and transformed into brushes, for a more realistic result. The set also includes 5 bonus paper textures that you can add as background for your artworks!

Inkredible Messy Ink & Wash Set

Hey friends, Introducing the Inkredible Messy Ink & Wash set for Procreate.

After many years of trying to create a more freestyle type of art, I decided to create some brushes that would assist me on my quest.
This set has taken me a leap forward, with the randomness of each brush stroke, and the messy ink accents included, I can now create the style of art that I had been wanting to for so long.

Each ink brush is pressure sensitive, so play around and get a feel for what this does. By varying your pressure as you create your line work, you will create thick and thin line work, that will add some spontaneity to your art.
The ink brushes are great for lettering too.

The water brush also works on pressure, the heavier the pressure, the darker the stroke, light pressure creates a more watery look. Again, have a play around, and see how it can work for you.

In the file download, you will find the brush set and a folder consisting of product reference images that you may find useful to look at.
