Hey and welcome to my, now better than ever, Updated OMG Watercolour Brushes for Procreate
With the recent updates to Procreate, the brush capabilities have increased immensely, which is awesome news for us digital artists.
Perfecting watercolours on my iPad has been a goal of mine for the past few years, so playing with the new brush studio in Procreate 5 has been so awesome. My digital watercolour art can now be more realistic than ever before, and now, with these brushes, so can yours.
Being a traditional artist for many years, I feel these brushes are the best and closest you can get to the real thing, and can be used in a number of ways to create an array of beautiful watercolour art, from a quick line and wash, to a more professional watercolour piece of art.
Most of the brushes in this set are pressure sensitive, so you will have to play around with them to get a feel for what happens when you press down on your pencil.
Tip: Try to keep the Apple Pencil in contact with the screen until you have finished painting your shape. This will create a more realistic watercolour effect. By adding pressure to your pencil when painting, you will be able to change the flow of the paint, for example, create lighter and darker areas within your stroke.
