Peaceful Meadow collection emerged as a dream of peace, of being able to walk freely in the meadows and fields of my beautiful Ukraine without being worried that the ground is mined. In the horrible circumstances of war simple desires like that become something you wish for and pray for every day. These watercolor illustrations show you different wildflowers that grow in our meadows and remind me of peaceful days. I have always been drawn to the aesthetics of 70s antiwar art but never could I imagine that I’d need to be creating something in that manner.
