These brushes have been great, I will try the fix of “Orient to Screen” is turned off as advised above. I might not have had the same issues as I was trying for a more cartoon look. You can see my work here: https://www.spoonflower.com/designs/12213970-cute-funny-cat-breakfast-recipe-tabby-cat-by-wickedrefined
Thank you for the great tool.

” follow My fur is not going in the direction I am painting it. And I did the setting to “follow stroke ” and it isn’t cooperating. It seems this happens to everyone. Kind of disappointing.
Annabel Smith –
Oh no, I am really sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with your fur brushes, Lucy!
As you have seen, in Procreate, you can use your brush settings to select whether you prefer your brush strokes to follow your brush line, or whether you would like to have your brush strokes pointed in a specific direction. Usually, changing the brush settings to follow stroke will solve this query for our other community members who have experienced similar, so my sincerest apologies if this is possibly not the case for you!
I am really keen to be able to get to the bottom of this for you, so you should see an email from me really soon to help further.

The rotation is set to 100, but it doesn’t work at all. They are not responding to the stroke direction.
Annabel Smith –
Hey Marco,
Thank you so much for reaching out to us! I am really sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with your brush direction settings in Procreate. You should be able to set your brush rotation to ‘Follow Stroke’, rather than have a number setting. To do this, you will need to pull your Rotation slider all the way to the right, until ‘Follow Stroke’ appears in place of a number value. Rest assured I have popped you over an email as well to be able to help you get up and running straight away :).

I can certainly help you get working with your new Fur Brushes so yous hould see an email from me really soon :).
Anne Watman –
Great set of brushes! I just figured out why I was having a problem with the direction of the brushes. You need to go to open the Brush menu, select Brush Properties, and make sure “Orient to Screen” is turned off.
Zack Parks –
Hey Anne,
It is so great to hear that you are now up and running, and thank you for sharing your solution with us :) Happy designing!
