RUBBISH: tried downloading (and I have a zip file). The page stayed the same and downloaded NOTHING. Now the link has gone. Quick enough to take my money.

      Hey Hiero,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us about this and I am so sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The Design Cuts office is actually closed over the weekend which is when we received your email and comments but rest assured, we respond to everyone who reached out whilst we were closed once we are back in the office on Monday morning!

I’m really sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulty downloading your Procreate Lettering Kit. This can be due to a number of reasons so I have replied to your email to help investigate this further for you. So that you can get working with this one without further delay in the meantime, I have also sent you a Dropbox link which should help to speed up the download process for you.

In traditional calligraphy the nib angle is measured from the base line, not the vertical. When a style stipulates a 30 degree angle, which goes for most standard classical capitals and lower case styles, this is crucial for the variation of the contrast. It is disappointing that a toolkit which claims to be for lettering has missed this very basic premise. A well- written text also requires other angles for subtle adjustment of the thicks and thins. Perhaps consulting one of the many very skilled calligraphers around would be useful when creating new brushes.

I followed the video on downloading & installing the set, using the unzip app.
It seems to download but the brush images in unzip are greyed out and will not import into Procreate.
Frustrated and at a loss of what to do.

Thanks so much for commenting Andrew and I am really sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulty installing your brushset file to Procreate. Brushset files are required to be installed slightly differently to brush files, so I am really sorry if this has possibly been the cause of any confusion.

I have just popped you over an email with some instructions which should be able to help you get working with these without any further delay!

    Hello,

I am really enjoying the lettering kit! I’ve used it nonstop since purchasing and and I’m very happy I decided to buy it! I wanted to ask about the Color Builder brushes. Is there a way you recommend using them? I guess I found they just smear my colors instead of building up into multicolored layers like the example in the photo. Please let me know if there are any resources I could check out, of if you have any suggestions.

Thanks again for an awesome set of brushes!
