How was the pack made?
I painstakingly scanned hundreds of dollars worth of real glass samples some of which I salvaged myself (this was no easy feat!). These were cleaned up and converted into seamless, repeat, texture patterns. They were then combined with adjustable lighting effects and saved as one-click layer styles which enable the user to transform shapes and type instantly and easily. I also created a variety of leading brushes so, you can add authentic looking outlines to your designs.

I know that the requirements say that Illustrator is necessary (I don’t have that in my CC subscription anymore) but from the little diagram instructions above, wouldn’t this work if I created the leading outlines as a vector and did vector shapes within Photoshop and then I could apply the layer styles. I understand that without the illustrator leading brushes, my lines might look a little different, but it seems like that should work.
I would really love to buy and use this (stained glass is my jam), but right now I am not upping my CC subscription to get Illustrator.
Also wondering if once installed the color palette can be tweaked? Is there a way to save new layer styles that I could customize the colors on.

Thanks so much for your comment and I’m sorry that you currently do not have Illustrator. So the designer has advised that to get full use out of this product, you do require Illustrator and Photoshop, however you may be able to work around this one without using the Leading Brushes. The colour palettes have not been provided as editable, however you possibly could experiment with colour overlays if you have a specific colour in mind Jennifer :).
