Brushes, templates & guides to help you draw real people easily!

Are you a little intimidated to draw the female form? Yikes! Not sure how to get that pose just right and want to get to the fun part of drawing? Isn’t it the worst just staring at a blank canvas? Ugh, I know how you feel. Honestly, I originally made this pack of body brushes for myself just so I could get to the fun part way faster and improve my skills. And it worked!

Finish illustrating people super-fast with this handy dandy pack of brushes and guides that will cut your drawing time in half, while improving your ability to draw anatomy. It’s great for beginners and advanced artists alike. You don’t have to be an expert to use it, just be able to trace and fill in with a little imagination.
This brush box is design for people who would like to draw more ‘real’ woman shapes. Included are 4 body builds: Athletic (she’s got hips!), Slim (more classic croquis), Petite (a little shorter proportions) and Curvy (exactly as she sounds!). Also, 2 head positions with 24 hairstyles to choose from giving you such a huge head start on your drawing.

There are 87 brushes for Procreate and Photoshop, Layered .PSD and .AI files (just like a Creator, you build your body by turning on and off layers) as well as 87 individual .PNG and .PDF files for you to use on any platform that supports them, or you could even just print them out and use a paper and pencil!

With these brushes you will help you improve your drawing skills, create sketches and finished pieces way quicker and have an absolute blast doing it!

I have not purchased the Body Builder Brush Box yet but is planning to. I need to know if we must know how to draw (say the clothing) to get the most from this box set? I can’t freehand draw but think this box set is awesome but I would not know how to draw the outfits the models are wearing. Thanks for your time and response.

      Hey Shirley,

It is great to hear that you are interested in this collection. These body builder brushes include just the shapes for building up a silhouette of these female characters, and so do not actually include guides for drawing outfits or accessories. The outfits shown in the preview graphics have been drawn by Kris to offer some inspiration on the kind of characters you can create using her pack, however they are not actually part of the pack. My apologies for any confusion caused!

    Hello,

I purchased this a couple of days ago and only got to check the files now. I was wondering if you have files compatible with older versions of Adobe running on Windows OS? Whenever I try to open the AI file some layers are not showing. I am also unable to view both the pdf and png files, I’m thinking it’s a compatibility issue with the software since I’m using windows. I would really appreciate if you could send me files compatible with the current system I am using.

Hoping for your response soon. Thank you

      Hey Jestina,

Thank you so much for commenting! We do always thoroughly test all of our files so I am wondering if this was possibly due to an interruption in your initial download. Not to worry however as I can certainly help with this and have popped you an email :).

Hello, this set claims to be compatible with PSD CS3 or higher. I have CS5 but the brushes won’t load. When I try, it tells me the brush set is incompatible with my version of PSD.

Hi! I was wondering if the items are in png format, then it will most likely work in PSE and perhaps older PS versions? Thanks!

      Hey Lisa,

Thanks so much for reaching out to us!

The great news is that Kris has provided all of these guide elements in PDF and PNG format, so these should be able to work in most design based software, including Photoshop Elements :).
