Utily Sans
Utily Sans emerges from the question – what would the world be like if Paul Renner had had a greater inclination towards humanism rather than geometry?
Utily Sans glyph proportions and shapes make it suitable for long-form text. This typeface shows geometric simplicity with humanist shapes. It looks like Futura, but has a feel closer to Garamond.
Utily Sans is composed of 6 weights with their matching italics, an alternate character set that brings it back to its geometric origin, uppercase discretionary ligatures for expressive titles, as well as small caps, lining figures and old style numbers. These features make the font well-suited for large and small sized compositions, for short or long text.
Included in this set:
- 12 font styles
Please note that Stylistic Alternates will require professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or Inkscape.

Magdelin
Magdelin is a minimal yet warm gothic sans serif typeface consisting of 40 fonts with normal and alternate families.
At its core, the design is a gothic sans having simple forms and low contrast, yet it takes some qualities from the humanist class with its calligraphy or cursive-inspired details found in the italics and the bowl shapes of characters like b and d. The weights range from thin to black.
The small x-height, longer ascenders and descenders, and semi-condensed proportions give it a bit of a vintage or classic feel while still appearing contemporary and modern in current typographic landscapes. The clean design allows it to be a useful and versatile workhorse family great for branding, packaging, editorial, books, websites, digital, and more.
With the included alternate family (Magdelin Alt) comes even more calligraphic details by having certain strokes terminate with an angle so it reflects a broad-nib pen drawn at an angle. This increases the overall warmth in appearance.
Included in this set:
- 40 fonts in two families (thin through black weights with italics)
Please note that Stylistic Alternates will require professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or Inkscape.

Campora
An eclectic typeface with the flavor of the 80s – we’re excited to introduce you this typeface including an inline version!
This year we attended the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in Italy. In our days off, we went to Piazza Maggiore to see what the city had to offer and luckily for us we saw an incredible store sign saying CAMPORA. We took some pictures of the typed font and later back in the studio we discovered that it was Dynamo. Immediately our minds were blown away by its beauty and thus we decided to design a new font inspired by its sharp and geometric design adding new weights and OpenType features. In the process we realized that both Dynamo and one of our favorite fonts Avant Garde, share a similar structure, so we made a type mashup between these beauties, including the sharpness of Dynamo and the revolutionary ligatures of Avant Garde.

Ryman Gothic
Ryman Gothic is inspired by American Wood Types and Gothic Typefaces, mainly in the work of Edwin Allen and Morris Fuller Benton. The result is a hybrid combining gothic proportions with the contrast of wood types. While drawing consonants guided by gothic proportions, vowels were designed slightly wider, making them not only more legible when it comes to long text designs, but also more attractive.

Cocomat Pro
Cocomat has been designed by Francesco Canovaro and Debora Manetti as a development of the Coco Gothic typeface system created by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini. It shares with all the other subfamilies in the Coco Gothic system a geometric skeleton with open, more humanistic proportions, a sans serif design with slightly rounded corners and low contrast proportions, without optical compensation on the horizontal lines, resulting in a quasi-inverted contrast look in the boldest weights.
What differentiates Cocomat from the other subfamilies in Coco Gothic are some slight design touches in the uppercase letters, with a vertical unbalancing reminiscent of art deco design, notably evident in uppercase “E”, “A”,”F”,”P” and “R” – while lowercase letters have been given some optical compensation on the stems, like in “n”,”m”, “p” and “q”. These design choices, evoking the second and third decade of the last century (Cocomat is also referred as Coco 1920 in the Coco Gothic Family) all give Cocomat a slight vintage feeling, making it a perfect choice every time you need to add a period vibe or a historical flair to your design, like in food or luxury branding.
The typeface, first published in 2014, has been completely redesigned by the original authors in 2019 as Cocomat Pro to include eight extra weights (thin, medium, black and heavy in both roman and italic form), extra open type features (including alternate forms, positional numerals), and extra glyphs making Cocomat cover over two hundred languages using Latin, Cyrillic and Greek alphabets.

Florentia
A contemporary luxury type family of 18 styles

Kiperman
Kiperman is a text typeface designed in honor of Henrique Leão Kiperman, founder of the publishing house Artmed, now Grupo A.
Its forms are simple and straightforward, with no unnecessary embellishments that could disturb the reading. The fonts are slightly narrower than normal, which yields higher efficiency without compromising reading comfort. Besides that, its italics are not just a slanted version of the romans, but rather a separate drawing. With a slope of 8°, its calligraphic structure provides the right amount of emphasis when necessary.
The Kiperman typeface works best when setting books, magazines, ebooks and websites. It will also work very well in branding and packaging projects where a sober typeface is needed.
The inspiration for the design came from the personality of the honoree. Just as Henrique always wanted to stay away from spotlights, the Kiperman typeface was designed so that it would not call attention to itself or impose any obstacles in the understanding of the text. In this way, the fonts revere Henrique’s legacy by respecting and honoring the published content.

The display versions are sophisticated enough for tasks where a certain amount of extra elegance and flair are required, without compromising much on legibility. The text versions, however, are true workhorses, suitable for continuous texts in small sizes.
All Morison fonts are equipped with handy Open Type features, such as built-in small capitals and multiple numeral styles.
Included in this set:
- 8 weights of Morison Standard fonts
- 8 weights of Morison Standard Italic fonts
- 8 weights of Morison Display fonts
- 8 weights of Morison Display Italic fonts
Please note that Stylistic Alternates will require professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or Inkscape.

This might just be the best font bundle yet :-) I’ve been hoping for more “humanist” sans-serifs, and here are plenty. Also Kiperman and Morison look great and I believe they’ll be coming in handy. But it’s unfair to pick out a few fonts from this bundle — they are all excellent!
One question: is “Aalto” a rebranding of “Alvar” which was in “The Essential Versatile Font Collection” a while back? It certainly looks very similar — do you know if there have been changes made?
Annabel Smith –
Thanks so much for your super lovely comment Klemens and we really appreciate all of your awesome support!
We are really sorry for any inconvenience caused by these similar fonts! As Aalto was previously named Alvar when this font was previously featured, it appears that this one did slip through accidentally so our sincerest apologies for this!
These fonts do appear to be the same, however they were listed under different names. I have just asked our Product Team to add in a note to the deal page, so that our community can see exactly where this font has appeared previously to prevent any confusion so I hope that this helps!

I’m asking myself why I take a look at the previews before purchasing a Design Cuts font bundle – I have to have them all, and I purchase them anyway. This one is absolutely great again, featuring three font families I requested some time before: Aalto Sans, Cocomat Pro, and Morison. And if that wasn’t enough, some beautiful font faces like Florentia, Kiperman, and Campora, plus several very good sans-serifs, have been added on top. My font collection is already huge, but I can’t resist your bundles a single time…
Since you asked for wishes in the comment above (your answer to Markus), here are three of mine:
1) Jazmín by Eli Hernández / Latinotype, a great (semi-)serif font family,
2) blackHand by JOEBOB graphics, a nice and readable handwritten font,
3) Rhetoric by Paulo Goode, an interesting sans-serif font family.
Thank you very much for the current bundle and your relentless efforts to always bring your customers the best resources for the best price!

I purchased these last night and there are some lovely fonts. Some of the svg web fonts have errors and it would have been helpful if woff2 files were included. It’s time consuming, but I guess I’ll have to convert these myself.
Annabel Smith –
Thanks so much for commenting Ashley and I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing errors with some of your fonts. We do always thoroughly test all of our products before their release and we have not had any similar reports of this. If you can possibly pop us over an email to let us know the names of the fonts that you are seeing any errors with, we can certainly help you further with this :).
