Lots in this bundle that I’d love to own but, like Stacy, I’m finding the Canadian dollar vs the US is causing me a lot of pain right now. Add to that, post holiday bills, and it’s a struggle this time around. I have two problems here, for the first time in my purchasing of Design Cuts’ history.
One: I have already bought many of these packs. At full price. With no extended license. And I am talking MANY of them.
Two: The Canadian dollar SUCKS! What used to cost around $29 for me, now costs almost double. I know you guys in the UK and Europe are hurting also, and I am glad that the US dollar “may” be helping Design Cuts make some more moolah. I hope it does, although I know many of your designers are from the US, which puts a damper on that…
Here’s MY Deal: The EXTENDED LICENSE alone is worth purchasing this bundle. ONE of these graphic design packs with an extended license costs TRIPLE (and for me that’s, um, is there a word for SIX-PLE?) the price of your entire bundle. The whole thing.
That’s why you guys kill me. Every month. I swear, if your customer service wasn’t so great (read…these guys treat their customers like buddies), I may actually pass and be able to pay part of my cable bill. It’s hard to resist the staff, and their damned extended licenses………….

fantastic bundle at a fantastic price…. but I *wont* buy: I live in europe so when I check out the system adds 20%vat to the price (it’s the law….. in europe, most non european shop dont do it) this changes the deal completly: too expensive, and unfair: you colleges from other bundle shops dont add the 20% or make it vanish somehow.
at 35$ + this is not worth it, sorry.

Thanks for the comment on this one and I am so sorry to hear that the necessary inclusion of VAT has put you off your purchase.
We legally have to charge VAT to any of our customers within the EU as we ourselves are located in London, UK and have to abide by European law when it comes to our bundles. This is a charge that is totally out of our control I am afraid but online businesses must charge VAT to customers based in the EU. I have emailed you over an article which explains a bit further why this has to be done.
It’s worth noting Anton that if you are VAT registered yourself, or buying a bundle on behalf of a VAT registered business, that there is a field on the checkout screen to enter your VAT number. This will write off the VAT charge.

sorry I had not realised you were in europe like me and therefore that you had no choice with the VATMOSS law – for some reason I thought you were in the US and therefore had a choice.
This law is bad for all of us, I hope we’ll be able to make them chnge it.
