Stamp & Co – Vintage Stamp Font

A highly detailed textured vintage typeface.

I was in Sri Lanka on the old english rail system when I got a $2 fine for my luggage (surfboard) being too big for the luggage space. The ticket hadn’t changed since the 1950s and still used an old stamp with an official rail font. The fact that the stamp was so old gave the text a perfect subtle irregular border. This font I have made is based on that design. It is clean yet textured, like a stamp that didn’t quite get enough ink. Out of all the vintage fonts i have, i always come back to this one. It just matches textured graphics perfectly.

Prehistoria – Vintage Vector Illustrations

We went deep into company archives to compile this illustration bundle for you fanatics of fossilized ephemera. From Cambrian blastoids to Mesozoic plesiosaurs – even a giant elk from the Pleistocene – we have assembled a rich diversity of material from across the span of prehistoric time.

All elements were scanned at high resolution from a book that was printed in 1890. The vectorized lines of each element are clean and on point, but we left a little bit of grunge from the original illustrations because we want to honor the fact that the original pages were run through an actual printing press, and that actual ink was put to actual paper. We hope you value that sense of fidelity as much as we do.
