Futura
Futura is the prototype of a geometric and constructed linear sans serif and the most commonly used font of its kind, used to date. Futura, very much influenced by the Bauhaus movement in Germany, was designed in 1927 by Paul Renner. Although being around for almost 90 years, Futura seems eternally young and fresh which also explains its continuous popularity with designers and typographers. Futura simply means efficiency and functionality, documented by both its many usages as corporate type (e.g. Volkswagen, formerly IKEA, Vuitton, Shell, formerly HP, SMA and many more) as well as in various famous film projects (e.g. Kubrick, Anderson etc.). Futura’s iconic status was probably established when it walked on the moon with the Apollo 11 crew in 1969. It was used for the lettering of the plaque that was left up there.
This is the world’s most comprehensive and biggest offering of high-quality Futura fonts!
Included in this set:

URW Din
The digital outline fonts, DIN 1451 Fette Engschrift and Fette Mittelschrift were created by URW in 1984 and are the basis for all DIN font families. Both typefaces were designed for the URW SIGNUS system and were mainly used for the production of traffic signs.
They have since become so popular in other areas that we have developed a complete DIN font family with 48 styles in OpenType Pro: URW DIN. It is semi-condensed, which is unique among the DIN fonts, so it has a broad spectrum of typographic uses. Its large x-height makes it perfect for use in e-publishing (web, apps, e-Books etc) and its adjusted stroke width between the regular and bold weights enhances its quality and distinguishability in print.
Language Support: Afrikaans, Basque, Breton, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Gaelic (Irish, Scots), German, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Saami (Southern), Spanish, Swahili, Swedish.

URW Bodoni
URW Bodoni is a family of 50 serif typefaces first designed by Giambattista Bodoni in 1798. The typeface is classified as didone modern. Bodoni followed the ideas of John Baskerville, as found in the printing type Baskerville, that of increased stroke contrast and a more vertical, slightly condensed, upper case, but taking them to a more extreme conclusion. Bodoni had a long career and his designs evolved and differed, ending with a typeface of narrower underlying structure with flat, unbracketed serifs, extreme contrast between thick and thin strokes, and overall geometric construction. Though these later designs are rightfully called “modern”, the earlier designs are “transitional”.
Bodoni admired the work of John Baskerville and studied in detail the designs of French type founders Pierre Simon Fournier and Firmin Didot. Although he drew inspiration from the work of these designers, above all from Didot, no doubt Bodoni found his own style for his typefaces, which deservedly gained worldwide acceptance among printers.
Language Support: Afrikaans, Basque, Breton, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Gaelic (Irish, Scots), German, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Saami (Southern), Spanish, Swahili, Swedish.

Basilia
Basilia was originally designed in 1978 by Andre Gurtler of Swiss typographic team, Team 77, and released as Basilia Haas in 1982. Basilia is a clean text face with good contrast, similar to Walbaum.
The contrast in thick and thin strokes of the Basilia font is very strong, but it has a relaxed feel, suitable for advertising copy.

Baskerville
Baskerville is one of the most seminal serif font families of the past few centuries. Originally designed by John Baskerville in the 1750s, it has remained a triumph of form and legibility. URW’s modern revival includes an astonishing 51 styles, spread across 5 gorgeous weights.
Baskerville is beautifully versatile – designed for high-quality print applications, yet effortlessly applicable to modern applications such as web and digital media.
An outspoken contrast between the thick and thin strokes, combined with a vertical position of the axis results in improved legibility. Other typical characteristics of Baskerville are the distinctive swash tail on the uppercase Q and the cursive serifs in Baskerville Oblique.
Baskerville was regarded to be a technical milestone and is an important reference to later designed Didone typefaces.
Add this timeless classic to your font library.
