Stadtmitte

We are happy to introduce you StadtMitte, an industrial sans serif font designed by Juan Pablo De Gregorio.

Stadtmitte is a grotesque font with a distinctly industrial flair. It is inspired on a reinterpretation of the Berlin’s vernacular signs and characters created under the DIN 1451 norm.

By the early 1900s, german painters and sign makers started to spread this unmistakable way of font drawing used back then on freight trains. Such letter design was both very easy to read and build, hence it started to quickly spread until it became a standard in 1936 for highway signage.

Stadtmitte is not aimed to be yet another literal remake of those drawings but rather a revision of shapes and concepts that seeks to transport us to Germany’s industrial way of creating and displaying information, therefore being suitable for a wide scope of design uses, considering its own nature and different available weights.

Included in this set:

  • 16 fonts with 8 weights. 8 regulars and 8 italics.
  • Its 16 files contain 619 characters each.
  • The advanced opentype set contain ligatures, alternates, small caps, oldstyle numbers, and case sensitive figures.

Please note that Stylistic Alternates will require professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or Inkscape.

Language Support: Abenaki, Afaan Oromo, Afar, Afrikaans, Albanian, Alsatian, Amis, Anuta, Aragonese, Aranese, Aromanian, Arrernte, Arvanitic (Latin), Asturian, Atayal, Aymara, Bashkir (Latin), Basque, Bemba, Bikol, Bislama, Bosnian, Breton, Cape Verdean Creole, Catalan, Cebuano, Chamorro, Chavacano, Chichewa, Chickasaw, Cimbrian, Cofán, Corsican Creek,Crimean Tatar (Latin),Croatian, Czech, Dawan, Delaware, Dholuo, Drehu, Dutch, English, Estonian, Faroese, Fijian Filipino, Finnish, Folkspraak, French, Frisian, Friulian, Gagauz (Latin), Galician, Ganda, Genoese, German, Gikuyu, Gooniyandi, Greenlandic (Kalaallisut)Guadeloupean, Creole, Gwich’in, Haitian, Creole, Hän, Hawaiian, Hiligaynon, Hopi, Hotcąk (Latin), Hungarian, Icelandic, Ido, IgboI, locano, Indonesian, Interglossa, Interlingua, Irish, Istro-Romanian, Italian, Jamaican, Javanese (Latin), Jèrriais, Kala Lagaw Ya, Kapampangan (Latin), Kaqchikel, Karakalpak (Latin), Karelian (Latin), Kashubian, Kikongo, Kinyarwanda, Kiribati, Kirundi, Klingon, Ladin, Latin, Latino sine Flexione, Latvian, Lithuanian, Lojban, Lombard, Low Saxon, Luxembourgish, Maasai, Makhuwa, Malay, Maltese, Manx, Māori, Marquesan, Megleno-Romanian, Meriam Mir, Mirandese, Mohawk, Moldovan, Montagnais, Montenegrin, Murrinh-Patha, Nagamese Creole, Ndebele, Neapolitan, Ngiyambaa, Niuean, Noongar, Norwegian, Novial, Occidental, Occitan, Old Icelandic, Old Norse, Oshiwambo, Ossetian (Latin), Palauan, Papiamento, Piedmontese, Polish, Portuguese, Potawatomi, Q’eqchi’, Quechua, Rarotongan, Romanian, Romansh, Rotokas, Sami (Inari Sami), Sami (Lule Sami), Sami (Northern Sami), Sami (Southern Sami), Samoan, Sango, Saramaccan, Sardinian, Scottish Gaelic, Serbian (Latin), Seri, Seychellois Creole, Shawnee, Shona, Sicilian, Silesian, Slovak, Slovenian, Slovio (Latin), Somali, Sorbian (Lower Sorbian), Sorbian (Upper Sorbian), Sotho (Northern), Sotho (Southern), Spanish, Sranan, Sundanese (Latin), Swahili, Swazi, Swedish, Tagalog, Tahitian, Tetum, Tok Pisin, Tokelauan, Tongan, Tshiluba, Tsonga, Tswana, Tumbuka, Turkish, Turkmen (Latin), Tuvaluan, Tzotzil, Uzbek (Latin), Venetian, Vepsian, Volapük, Võro, Wallisian, Walloon, Waray-Waray, Warlpiri, Wayuu, Welsh, Wik-Mungkan, Wiradjuri, Wolof, Xavante, Xhosa, Yapese, Yindjibarndi, Zapotec, Zulu, Zuni.

Supera Gothic

Supera Gothic is a design inspired by the early geometric and humanist typefaces of the 20th century. Its characters draw inspiration from Erbar Grotesk by Jakob Erbar and Johnston by Edward Johnston; hence, in heavier weights, the “f” and “t” bars are pointed which honor Erbar’s work, and Supera’s uppercases and numbers reflect Johnston’s proportions and features. The result is a sans serif family with both, a historical and modern touch perfectly suited for all types of graphic works. Super Gothic comes in 9 weights plus its matching italics and is equipped with a large range of OpenType features.

Included in this set:

  • Latin + Cyrillic
  • OpenType features
  • Geometric
  • Ligatures

Compita

Compita is a Neo-Grotesk(ish) typeface that started life as a love-letter to Berthold’s classic. But for every rigid, Neue-Haasism, there exists an equal and opposite amount of humanist attributes – along with some small creative liberties.

It has some over-emphasised features and terminal endings which help to create a friendly personality, but sits them on a slightly condensed overall width. Together they help balance each other out, creating a face that feels both affable and professional. Aff-essional perhaps?

The character set contains everything the modern day designer needs, including diacritic support for over 30 languages. And It’s packed full of the usual opentype features (that most will probably ignore) – Small caps, multiple number sets, and discretionary ligatures, to name just a few.

Whether it’s deployed as a display face, or as the dependable choice for text, Compita is useable across multiple disciplines.

Included in this set:

  • 6 weights and matching italics (Thin, Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold and Bold)
  • Diacritic character support for over 30 languages
  • Packed full of open type features including small caps, stylistic alternates, arbitrary fractions, Tabluar figures, case sensitive forms and plenty of ligatures

Please note that Stylistic Alternates will require professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or Inkscape.

Language Support: Afrikaans, Albanian, Basque, Bosnian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Faroese, Filipino, Finnish, French, Galician, German, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Turkish, Welsh, Zulu

However – I wasn’t able to fill in my credit card details – it wouldn’t let me even click on the text field. So I was forced to pay via Paypal which in the end was little bit more expensive. I would still prefer paying with a card.
Thanks again for the excellent stuff!

    D.

Which styles are included in the “basic” package of the Bridge font exactly? Thank you!

      Hey Christian,

Thank you so much for getting in touch and I can definitely help with this!

The great news is that the designer has provided Bridge head basic in Medium, Light, Extra Light, Bold, Extra Bold and Black weights.

I hope this helps Christian, and if you have any other questions, please do let me know- I am always happy to help!

Hey Zack, thanks for your reply!
It’s still a bit confusing for me because it says “including 3 widths” and “6 fonts” — does this mean 6 font weights (as you mentioned them from extra light to black) in 3 widths (=18) or does it mean 6 font weights with only 1 width each?
Maybe I will just buy the bundle and take a closer look to find out ;-)

          Hey Christian,

Thanks for getting back in touch and I can certainly help with this. The great news is that on top of the 6 font weights, Bridge Basic comes with 3 widths: Black, Bold and Light. I hope this has helped with your decision to pick up this bundle and take it for a spin.

            Hey Zack,
thank you! But I think that Black, Bold, Light etc. are weights and not widths ;-)
Width means condensed or extended for example. After downloading the bundle I found out that there are 6 weights but only 1 width included (no condensed and no extended), so I guess the info “including 3 widths” in the description is wrong. But ok, I just wanted to clarify.
            All the best!

              Hey Christian,

Thanks for getting back to me and I’m sorry to hear that there is only 1 width. Rest assured I can certainly help. I have passed this on to our Product Team who have reached out to the designer to see if they can shed some light on this for us.

      Hey Robert,

Thanks so much for reaching out to us and it is great to hear that you are interested in this fonts collection. The zip file for the Complete bundle is 281.6 MB, which becomes 1.64 GB when unzipped. We do also include smaller downloads which just include the Desktop or Web Fonts separately however, if you are only interested in working with a certain type of font :). I hope this helps!

    Another great bundle, thanks DC.
I’m wondering what will become more creative in the years to come, the inspiring design examples used to showcase fonts or the ever more imaginative bundle names!
