A series of beautifully detailed vintage design elements sourced from our growing collection of vintage books and ephemera. Carefully restored and repurposed for the digital age!

These beautiful illustrations were printed entirely by hand over 150 years ago and to give them the respect they deserve, our restoration process starts with a whopping 1200dpi scan to capture as much detail as possible. We then isolate each piece from the background while tidying up overprint, ink bleeds, and various other imperfections. With a few touch-ups here and there, they’re ready to hit the pixel stage with a sharp new look!

• 25 Custom Made Borders! All of the borders had to be custom made from restrictive source material; The original pieces weren’t designed to be symmetrical, nor did they all include corner pieces, so we’re very pleased to bring new life to them over 150 years later! (Have a look below for a quick insight into how I made one of my favourites)
• Over 125 Illustrations! Borders aside, you’ll also find a plethora of illustrations, covering multiple topics, that have been meticulously edited by hand; From Birds to Botanicals, from quirky Characters to Decorative elements, and so much more
• Transparent .PNG Images Throughout! Each and every illustration is in the .PNG image format, with entirely transparent backgrounds. Ready and waiting to be dragged, dropped, copied, and pasted directly to your designs. You can overlap, layer, and print without any worries.
