I’ve just double checked this one for you and the designer has advised that it’s only compatible with Adobe Photoshop CS6 and newer. We unfortunately don’t work in Affinity ourselves, but if you did still want to trial it out, we always offer a full refund within 30days of your purchase if it doesn’t work for you :)

I downloaded it for Affinity Designer (where you can now import smart objects from PSD and PSB files – there is a short video out there on how to do this), and so far, I am happy. I can use scenes, objects, all layers with shadows are preserved, so it will definitely work for me.
