Over the past 18 months I’ve collected dozens of sponge brushes, acrylics, inks and papers.
This pack of 32 sponge scatter brushes was sourced from these hundreds of samples over the past 18 months.

Here’s the process each texture went through:

• Created sponge textures using real sponges, inks and paints
• Scanned textures into my MacBook
• Converted to vectors using VectorMagic, my favourite vector creation software
• Cleaned up the results by hand, getting rid of stray points and weird blobs
• Created scatter brushes in Illustrator with random rotations of brush and other features to create an organic feel to your work
• The result is a collection of vector sponge textures that will give you a little shot of joy every time you use them.
