Real watercolors are applied by building up layers of washes to create tone. The unpredictable runs and blemishes give both character and charm, and this is what I’ve captured in this super-realistic set. They not only look great but are also amazingly easy to use – enjoy yourself with brushes that are both well-made and full of creative potential! To use them, just set the blend mode to multiply and overlap the strokes, building up that texture and tone.

If you are a tablet user, you’ll be pleased to know that a version of the brushes with pressure sensitivity enabled is included. (Please note that this feature only works in Illustrator CS5+).
