Sad. Missed this. I cannot read my email every day. It leads to my being a tad overwhelmed. Catching up this weekend.

I LOVE Peace Art. I always buy every bundle with her work. Oh well, not this time.

I don’t celebrate Easter. I love sweet birds and feathers. Oh well …

Happy Passover!! The Last Supper was a Passover Seder, in case you don’t know. Yes, Jesus was Jewish, a rabbi/teacher, presiding over Passover festivities.

Celebrating FREEDOM from slavery. Good holiday. Not much clip art for it. Doesn’t have its roots in pagan symbols. How much fun are matzoh? Gelfite fish? Sticky icky red wine. Not much. Can’t stand that crap. Doesn’t make for good clip art.

“All the fun things about Easter are pagan. Bunnies are a leftover from the pagan festival of Eostre, a great northern goddess whose symbol was a rabbit or hare. Exchange of eggs is an ancient custom, celebrated by many cultures.”

My best to all, no matter what you believe or celebrate. We all believe in wonderful art! Yay!

(Except WHY must these images ONLY be labeled for a holiday not everyone celebrates??? WHY not just Spring Art??? That upsets me as much as missing out on this deal.)

    HAPPY SPRING!!

(I actually spent the weekend sorting your most recent deal. I once sent a PDF how I organize my files in Lightroom. I can’t be online while working in Lightroom. Not enough RAM in my aging iMac.)

      Hey Jenny,

Thanks for your comment. I’m so sorry to hear you missed out on this item as part of our Freebie Friday! Rest assured, we’ve got some awesome items coming up for our future freebie Fridays so we hope you’ll be able to pick those up! I totally hear you on emails becoming overwhelming so you can also see our featured freebie on our Facebook every Friday as well if that is a little easier for you!

Our sincerest apologies for any upset caused by the name of the pack! This pack is called the Happy Easter collections as it features pre-made card designs featuring Easter greetings. We completely appreciate that not everyone celebrates this holiday but the great news is that all of the lovely birds, feathers and branch items do come as individual vectors so they can certainly be used with your Spring designs :)

I hope this helps Jenny, and my apologies again for any confusion caused. If you have any other queries or if there’s ever anything else I can assist you with, please do let me know. I’m always happy to help!

What confusion? In a time when Jews and Muslims are being singled out for vandalism, hatred, deportation, etc, I have EVERY legitimate reason to point out that ART, which is UNIVERSAL, being called “Easter” art, when it’s also based on PAGAN and other spiritual beliefs, ONLY adds to the problems of the world.

As an artist, I take my social justice responsibilities VERY seriously. I don’t appreciate being called or implied that I am in ANY way ‘confused.”

I don’t want to be banned from DesignCuts. I’m a VERY loyal customer. But ARTISTS, of ALL people, have the right and duty to call out discrimination and limitation where and when we see it.

Plus not narrowly classifying something also opens the door to selling even more. Not everyone searches for Easter art.

I LOVE PEACE ART. As I wrote, I have many bundles from her. I suggest ALL ARTISTS and THOSE who sell on behalf of Artists have SERIOUS discussions about INCLUSIVITY.

It’s not a 100% Christian world, as much as many in America, England and Europe want it to be thus. Let’s ALSO include and celebrate those who believe differently. As Steve Jobs famously said:

        THINK DIFFERENT.

I send my love to all. Here’s to embracing ALL beliefs and STOP being so limiting! Artists have always shown the way. Let it start with us. Thank you.

PS I replied privately to Ben, who wrote me. The email bounced back. How can I respond privately?

Thanks to all you do. I don’t wanna start a war. I wanna THANK YOU ALL.

But … if we artists don’t talk and take action about INCLUSIVITY and recognizing ROOTS of Christianity and embracing those roots (not matter our beliefs, but at least as artists), then WTF are we doing with our lives?

Artists have voices. WE affect change. Hopefully for the better. That’s all. Do all have lovely lives. My best, and I mean it.

I, too, tried to download these before the cutoff time and they were marked $12 not free, as your email stated. Please help! Thanks!

      Hey Lynne,

Thanks for the second comment on our Freebie and i think the difference in timezones is the culprit here! I can see that you commented at 5am, London time which means the Freebie had already expired i’m afraid. All of our offers, bundles and Freebies operate on London, GMT time as that is were we are based.

I have popped you an email though Lynne which should help!

I tried to download these before the cutoff time and they were still marked as $12, not as the freebie that my email from you stated. I did email you asking to please advise. Thank you!

      Hey Lynne,

Thanks for the email and my apologies that you were having difficulty in getting your freebie- so our Friday Freebies work slightly different to our regular freebie page and you need to proceed as though you are making a purchase but you don’t need to input any credit card/ Paypal information and once you complete the purchase, you will be given a link to your download page.

I hope this helps, and please don’t hesitate to contact me should you have any other questions.
