Thanks for coming back to Ben- he is on a few days leave this week so I hope you don’t mind me picking this up in his absence! I am not sure why your email has bounced to him but rest assured you can resend it to myself or to our ‘hello’ address and I can mark it for him, for when he is back. I remember that you did have some issues before with emailing us so I wonder if this issue has come back! I will get our tech team to have a look Jenny.
Hmm I think Ben meant to write ‘upset’ rather than confusion here and he certainly wouldn’t have meant any offence- in fact he would be really upset if he thought he had offended you in any way!
We also take our own responsibilities within Design Cuts very seriously and I understand that you may find this pack limiting given your belief system but this will be suitable for a lot of our community who do believe in Easter and celebrate this particular holiday. As you know Jenny, we always try and include a little something for everyone and we will always aim to be as diverse as we can- we always ask that you and our community reach out if you come across specific resources for holidays that we haven’t featured and you would love to work with. I agree with you- it is not a 100% Christian world but if a designer has chosen to name their pack ‘Easter’ we also respect that this may be for their own belief system and we would hope that those in our community will look at the resources themselves and how they can be used universally. As Ben mentioned there is versatility here for the other items to be used for Spring designs.
I can see that this has struck a nerve with you and on behalf of the team, we apologise if the pack has offended you. I know that wouldn’t have been Peace Art’s or our intention at all. It is not our intention to limit but instead to embrace and respect all belief systems, as you have commented, and this pack focuses on just one belief system within our community. We encourage our designers to be as diverse as they can with their work and we will continue to do so to try and provide resources for everyone.
