I watched the tutorial and enjoyed learning how to use a glyph. This is a beautiful background and mockup ready psd file. Thank you for sharing. I am just getting back into using PhotoShop and thinking about ways to use it during my retirement from teaching school. Thank you also for the font.

I really don’t understand why you have a tutorial and say what files to download. when I follow the tutorial I find out that it’s not a match to the download so I cannot follow along. when I download it I find a finished ps file and a font no further rose and so on! please fix this?best regards Adriene

      Hey Adriene,

We’re so sorry for any confusion caused by our bundle tutorial. This particular tutorial has been designed to help give our community some inspiration to the types of designs they can create with their All-Purpose Creative’s Design Kit. As the designer has advised on the tutorial page, we are unable to include the rose graphic as a freebie, however if you do not have the All-Purpose Creative’s Design Kit, you can always substitute in any alternative black and white floral PNG images.

Hi, since the downloaded PSD is the already completed project, the rose graphic is included by default. One can simply discard everything except the rose (save it as a PNG) and start the tutorial from scratch.

Oopsie, we are so sorry that our freebie included the finished tutorial for you Carolyn, and thanks so much for letting us know! Rest assured, we have just updated this for you now so I hope that you can enjoy taking this tutorial for a spin using your fresh psd mockup now :)

Hi, I think something might be wrong with this download. I got the OTF but the downloaded file includes only one PSD which is the completed project – this is not how you usually send mock-up tutorial files.

    Cheers,
    Carolyn

Hello! I really liked this tutorial, but I was not able to find the layers in the “invite” psd file so I could change the color of the background paper as taught. Am I missing something? I wanted to make the background paper another color, like in the tutorial. Please advise.

Thanks so much for your comment Maureen and I’m really sorry to hear that you are having difficulty working with your PSD file when working through this tutorial. I have just double checked this on my side and it appears that there may possibly have been a slight error with a recent update to these freebies, so my sincerest apologies that this is affecting you Maureen!

Rest assured I have just reached out to the designer to be able to get an update for you as soon as possible, and I will pop you an email as soon as we hear hear back!

Just downloaded the tutorial files and it looks like the vp2.psd doesn’t have any editable smart layers. Just a background image layer, and layers adjusting the curves & brightness/contrast.

      Hey Scott,

Thank you so much for flagging this! We did have an issue with the file, however, this was replaced with the correct one around 10am UK time yesterday, so would you mind re-downloading it and giving this another try? I’ve also popped you over an email so that we can go through this :).
