You are incorrect, these are not the same ones. I have compared some and although they are examples of the same works, they are not the same actual maps. The BLR collection can limit the use of their copies but it is not as if they own the copyright on all examples. I do appreciate the resource, though.
Now for my intended comment: These are fascinating and just beautiful, so much detail and drama in the way the subjects are presented. I have sat looking at them several times, just scrolling around appreciating all of the work that went into them.
My one criticism, which also makes several of these easy to discern from the ones in the BLR collection, is that they could have done a little better job of flattening them for the capture; several have some curved distortion at the tops and bottoms on either side of the fold, but definitely not a deal breaker.

As far as I understand, these maps are part of The Barry Lawrence Ruderman Map Collection. It is stated that they cannot be re-distributed and used for commercial purposes. (information found here: Which also means that if I buy this item, I myself also am not permitted to use them for commercial purposes. Please let me know if that’s right.
