Hi, I just bought the product and wonder: Does the file name CS mean, the file works for Photoshop CS and CC ist for CreativeCloud-Users?
Unfortunately, I need to register to watch the tutorial video. Basically, that is not a problem. But having to register only to see the tutorial is just another step making things a little uneasy in a busy workday… Just a thought.
Gina Tomes –
Great question Anika – the CS folder included is for Creative Suite users, and the CC folder included is for Creative Cloud users 🙂.
I really appreciate your feedback on the tutorial – it’s completely down to the designer how the files are provided. The good news is we do offer a 30-day money-back guarantee so if you’re not able to work with this for your upcoming projects, I will be happy to organise a full refund for you.

Is this a standalone product or does it require Photoshop? I use ON1 software.
Fran Adams –
Hi Maureen. Thanks for checking with us about the Sketch Creator, we’re always happy to help :)
In this case unfortunately you will need to use Photoshop as it’s a Smart Layer file which can only be opened in Photoshop. Sorry for any disappointment caused.

I would love to see a program like this for Procreate.
Annabel Smith –
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment Mickey!
We do have a few sketch-style brush packs for Procreate in our Marketplace so that you can create your own gorgeous sketchwork art, however unfortunately we do not have any similar packs where you can add instant effects to your photography in Procreate.
If you would like any help finding any resources in particular, please feel free to get in touch with us anytime and we can certainly help!

Hi,
I bought this thinking I could use it in Affinity Designer but I can’t work out how. Is this possible?
Thanks :-)
Annabel Smith –
Hey Sharleen,
Thanks so much for commenting and I am really sorry for any confusion over the compatibility of the Sketch Creator.
We do always list the software compatibility on the deal page, and the designer has advised that this pack is compatible with Photoshop CS3 and newer. Affinity’s support page do mention that Affinity Designer can usually work with PSD files however, so I have just popped you over an email to help you further with this!

Hi Sharleen – I have Affinity Designer – took me absolutely ages to get it to work –
1.open Affinity Designer
2.go to Edit on top bar – then preferences
3. click on General and tick box – import psd smart objects where possible
4. then open sketch creator
5. although no little box inside the “place image here” on panel if double click & drop image in then close to save it opens up again
6. it’s not quite like his – have to fiddle a bit to get desired image effect Before starting on anything else.
Hope this helps

This is a very cool effect! I have been having so much fun applying it to various photos. It takes a bit of time to apply the effect, but it’s well worth it! I also appreciate the ability to go into the layers and tweak the effects. Thank you!
