The Creative Journey is a unique insight into how to build a creative business from scratch. Follow along as Jo Fallon shows the Design Cuts community the ups and downs of starting her business The Cotswold Chalkboard.
Jo starts this week’s episode on a really positive note and she is letting us know that she has now finalised the Design Cuts Chalk Pack, which has been packed and sent to us. We can’t wait to share this with everyone soon.
Jo has been more on top of things recently, and she is planning on going to sleep earlier in the evening so she can get up very early in the morning and get some work done before heading to her job at the co-working space. She’s also been keeping track of how long her tasks actually take and also been following a course on time management workflows for creatives, which she finds very useful in keeping her work on track.
Jo ends the episode with an update on some work she’s done in the past couple of weeks, including the mural at her accountant’s office, which looks great. It was really nice to see Jo working on chalkboards again as we get a glimpse of the Christmas Workshop boards she created for the Newbury Art Centres, and we can’t believe we’re only 3 months away from Christmas.
