The Creative Journey is a unique insight into how to build a creative business from scratch. Follow along as Jo Fallon shows the Design Cuts community the ups and downs of starting her business The Cotswold Chalkboard.
Jo is back for another episode of the Creative Journey, and she starts the vlog with some very good news. ? She just had a meeting with a potential client, the owner of a pub in Somerset, which have a lot of chalkboards that will need updating seasonally. Jo’s hoping to get the job, as this will mean some constant work coming in for her. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for you Jo.
On Tuesday she heads to the mechanics in Cheltenham to do the draft and get started on their promo board, but unfortunately due to the terrible weather we’ve all been experiencing in the UK, and the freezing cold in the garage, she couldn’t do much and had to return later in the week.
Jo returned to the mechanics garage on Saturday, all wrapped up in warm layers and with a hot beverage at hand and she’s ready to do some more work on the board, but as she struggled with the cold again she couldn’t do very much and had to return on Monday to finish it off. We’re happy to see that all her hard work paid off, as the Hansa promotional board looked amazing. Well done Jo! ?
