Kasandra Script is a modern calligraphy font that features a varying baseline, smooth line, classic and elegant touch. Can be used for various purposes.such as headings, signature, logos, wedding invitation, t-shirt, letterhead, signage, label, news, posters, badges, etc.
Kasandra Script features 460+ glyphs and 244 alternate characters. including initial and terminal letters, alternates, ligatures, and multiple language support.
To enable the OpenType Stylistic alternates, you need a program that supports OpenType features such as Adobe Illustrator CS, Adobe Indesign & CorelDraw X6-X7, Microsoft Word 2010 or later versions.

Hello. I would like to use this font in CorelDraws SE Version. How can I use the swashes?

Je viens de faire l’essai et je ne les obtiens pas.
Est-ce qu’il me faudrait la version commerciale pour cela ?

I followed the explanations of the video and those of the page https://www.designcuts.com/tutorials/using-font-swashes/
and it still didn’t work ! I didn’t understand why ;-(
And then I understood : in the glyph window I didn’t go down low enough, so I only saw the first characters that were exactly the same as the ones I had just typed. Going further down there are all kinds of variants and that’s exactly what I was looking for !!

To help others as me :
In the palette “glyphs” you must select “whole font” (under the font name). Because, even if you have selected only one letter in your text, if you choose “variants for selection” in this drop-down menu, you will get nothing.
Another strange thing (observed with another font than Kasandra) : sometimes glyphs are not offered with all the letters of the alphabet.
For example: with the font “Magnolia Sky” if I type “Bonjour” and select the letter “j”, I have no glyph proposed for this letter (I have: n, f, h, m, l etc…, symbols, numbers… but no j !)

My last remark led me to make a test with any font (Verdana, Arial…) and I got no possibility of glyphe.
Which brings me to a new question : where should we look for fonts that contain glyphs ? ☺

Hey Polly,
Standard fonts on your computer may not include stylistic alternates, however the designers that we work with will always include their stylistic alternates in the preview graphics if these are included with their fonts. We hope that this helps you see exactly what is included with your fonts, and if you do have any queries about any particular fonts in our Marketplace or Bundles, please do let us know and we can definitely help!
