Welcome to the Procreate Brush Maker Kit Volume 1. Today, I’d like to introduce you to a product that has helped many people getting started creating Premium Procreate brushes.
So, what is the Procreate Brush Maker Kit Volume 1?
The Procreate Brush Maker Kit is a package of over 200 pre-made shapes and about 150 ready-made – which means seamlessly tileable – textures which are the base of every Procreate brush. The shapes and textures, as well as the brushes, of course, have been made in hundreds of working hours, and it took months to create the over 2,000 brushes that I’ve been selling so far. Creating shapes and textures that would be a good fit for Procreate and which were able to achieve the looks I wanted, was a very time-consuming job. But this work is your benefit now. Because in 2020, I decided decided to give away most of the source files I have to help other designers creating their brushes much faster.
So, what you’re going to do to create a brush is simple:
– pick a shape from this kit
– pick a texture
– make your adjustments
– Done.
And that’s exactly what I recommend you to do if you are new in this field. Just get started. Don’t overthink it, don’t set goals. Not in the beginning. Just enjoy experimenting and learn through trial and error. Do not try to achieve something, and you’ll see, soon you’ll get a feeling for brush behavior and how you can tweak the settings the way you want.
The Procreate Brush Maker Kit Volume 1 is not an online course; it doesn’t teach you how to create brushes or how to achieve a particular look. But I’ve included some white-label brush templates for you to start AND a Quick-Guide with personal advice, tips and a useful YouTube playlist.

I love this pack. Ok so to help out my fellow Creative here, I bought this pack because I create a lot of brushes and honestly HATE creating the grains myself. Yes you CAN use this pack to create and then sell your own brushes from them. NO you cannot sell or give away the papers that come with or give away the grains and shapes in a library to your customer, that would be different. Creating a brush with this product embeds the grains and shapes into the actual brush, doing so makes the brush sellable. YEA. Now on to is this a good package? YEAH it is AWESOME. The instructional alone is worth a million bucks; as a creator and as a procreate brush creator, it is the first and best description I have seen yet on HOW to do it and why. It is valuable if you are thinking about starting to create your own brushes, or even thinking about just playing with the ones you have now. Plus the content for the grains and shapes is a wonderful new bunch to work with, I created a brush that I needed within a few minutes using this, it was a huge time saver. I love it, I hope they do more shapes, more grains and more paper, I will be the first to add on to my library.

Hi, I am interested in this product. It is expensive for me but it looks useful. However, I can’t find any info or reviews on the internet about it. I believe the creator would not like any one contacting them about how to use it properly so have you had any feedback yourselves about it?

Hey! Your copy above states we can use these files to create brushes to sell? But, the instructions you give us, after purchase, tell us not to sell the brushes made with these files. Which is it? Can I sell brushes I make with these files, or no? Thank you!

The great news is that this pack has been created specifically to help you create your own brushes, so you can certainly use the tools provided to make your own original brushes for sale. You are right that our licence does not allow you to create digital brushes for sale from existing Procreate brush packs, so my apologies for any confusion caused :). Hi! I want to buy the pack but I’m confused by this comment. Can I use the shapes and textures included in this pack to make brushes that then I can sell? and what do you mean by “our licence does not allow you to create digital brushes for sale from existing Procreate brush packs” Thats the part that confuses me, Can I sell the brushes that I create with this kit?

Thanks for reaching out to us and my apologies for any confusion caused. So as you may have seen, this pack has been created specifically to allow users to create their own brushes for sale. Usually with our licence, creating digital design resources for sale is not permitted which is why we advise that you cannot create Procreate brushes for sale using an existing Procreate brush pack in our Marketplace. This specific pack however is an exception to this rule so you can certainly use the elements provided within the Procreate Brush Maker Kit to create your own Procreate brushes for sale :).

We are not actually partnered with Procreate, so we are unable to fully confirm exactly what will be featured in Procreate’s future updates, however from double checking Procreate’s FAQ’s these brushes and templates should be able to work in version 5 once this has released :).
