1920 Art Deco Seamless Patterns

Updated February 18th 2019 Files have been updated

Each pattern is vector-based and carefully created to make an edge to edge seamless pattern. All strokes are editable so you can change the thickness.

You can use them for various projects, scale up or down any pattern to get the look you want, change colors and create endless unique variations of these patterns.

All patterns are made of 2 solid colors only, one for the pattern and one for the background. I thought it would be easier for people who want to change the colors quickly, but if you need the pattern on a transparent background, to apply a style, you can simply remove or turn the opacity of the background square while editing the pattern. More info in the ReadMe.pdf file.

Included in this set:

• A swatch library with 40 seamless vector patterns.(.AI file – CC and CS2+)
• 40 .EPS vector patterns (CS2+)
• A repeating pattern library for Photoshop (PS .pat file) : All patterns have a transparent background so you can play easily with the colors. For more info on how to change the colors, please see the ReadMe.pdf file.
• 80 seamless digital papers, as seen on preview images, ready to use (.JPG file, high quality, 300 ppi, 12”x12”)
• 40 seamless black patterns with a transparent background. (.PNG, high quality, 300ppi, 12″x12″)
• 7 seamless foil layer styles (.ASL file) : rose gold – copper – antique gold – gold – platinum – silver – white gold
• A “read me” file explaining everything

Software compatibility: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS2 or newer. .JPG and .PNG files will work with most graphic software.

The 1920 Pattern collection is really beautiful! I appreciate the complete instructions on how to load, access, and change colors of patterns and their backgrounds. My job was on a tight deadline and your providing this info was a huge help. Jessika was very responsive in answering some questions. Thanks for such great service!

    • Zack Parks

      Hey Susan,

Thanks for getting in touch and you are very welcome. I am glad that Jessika was able to help answer your questions and it’s great to hear that you were able to meet your deadline. If you feel comfortable sharing Susan, we would love to see your designs :).

Hi, are the papers missing from the downloads? I can’t find them. Could you also let me know the fonts used

    • Annabel Smith

      Hey Shakil,

I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulty locating your paper files in your 1920 Art Deco Seamless Patterns pack, rest assured I can certainly help!

The great news is that you should find these in your Pre-made Sets folder. Would you mind double checking in this folder to see if these are in there for you, just so that we can confirm that all of your resources have downloaded correctly? Rest assured I have popped you an email to help you with this further and to give you more information about the preview graphics to help identify this font for you :)

Hi, just bought, is there any sort of .pdf showing the patterns? Or some way to browse? I’m using Sketch so can’t load the Photoshop pattern package, would like an easier way to view/pick patterns.

    • annabel@designcuts.com

      Hey Craig,
thank you so much for your comment and I am so sorry for any inconvenience caused.

I am so sorry to be the bearer of bad news but we do not include any pdf guides for our Marketplace items, my sincerest apologies for any disappointment caused!

The good news is that there are still ways in which you can locate your desired patterns quickly. Do you use Pinterest by any chance, as we have included a ‘Pin It’ function on the images on our deal pages so that you can visually see all of the resources included in your pack, without needing to manually search through all of your pattern files. Alternatively you can always return to the product page to quickly scroll through to find the resources that you would like to work with first by clicking the page links in your account.

I hope this helps and I have popped you an email as well to give you more information :)

Very nice graphic papers. What are the fonts that you used for “1920” and “PATTERN SWATCH” in the display?

    • carol@designcuts.com

      Hey Robert,

Thanks for the comment on this one! We actually don’t create the preview graphics ourselves at Design Cuts but I have reached out to the designer to find out for you and I will pop you an email once she comes back to me! I hope this helps, and please don’t hesitate to contact me should you have any other questions.

    • Dean White

@Robert Wild, the font they used for 1920 is Grenadier by Nick’s Fonts: https://www.dafont.com/grenadier.font

      • Annabel Smith

        Hey Dean,

Thanks so much for commenting and providing a handy link for any of our community, also hoping to pick this font up for their own collection- this is so sweet of you!

We hope that Robert and the rest of our community really enjoy being able to check this font out and thanks again for your awesome support Dean :).
