Shallot is a serif font family with sharp and exquisite characteristic. The initial letterforms are made not completely based on calligraphic strokes, which make it more likely close to transitional serif style. Mazin is the Latin-phonetic spelling of “Listener” in Hebrew. A founding member of this type foundry will forever be at the core of its success; this typeface is a tribute to her. With Mazin we struck a balance between self-consciousness and usability to create a workhorse family that is comparative in spirit to previous Neo-Grotesques.
